This is a recurring class on Mondays through April. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen. The series will be taught by fitness instructor Elizabeth Moakler. This class will focus on how dance promotes well-being and belonging.

Regular aerobic exercise has been shown to contribute to brain health and aid memory and focus. In addition to delivering cardiovascular and muscle-strengthening benefits, the exercises are good for your brain. The popular Zumba workout, which puts a mix of high- and lower-intensity dance moves to Latin and World beats, has been modified in Zumba Gold to provide a less intensive, more joint-friendly dance workout without sacrificing the rhythms or the fun. Zumba Gold® is a variation on the popular dance exercise program, a workout for older adults that’s good for both body and brain.
